In the 1990 earthquake, Calasiao suffered severe damage, including its church and public structures. The Señor Divino Tesoro Chapel, renovated under Mayor Macanlalay and President Fernandez, was tragically destroyed in a 2008 fire. Despite this loss, a new shrine has been rebuilt, honoring the crucified Lord Jesus - THE SEÑOR DIVINO TESORO.
