The Philomena Parish in Centro, Alcala, Cagayan, founded in 1843, saw the construction of its church in 1881.
Known as the Alcala Church, this imposing red-brick structure is reputed to be the largest Spanish colonial church within the Archdiocese of Tuguegarao.
