ILOILO CITY

MOLO CHURCH
Historical Fact:
  • During World War II, the church served as a refuge for civilians seeking safety from the conflict. On March 18, 1945, it suffered significant damage, including the destruction of one of its towers, during the liberation of the Philippines from Japan. Rev. Manuel Alba, with the support of the congregation, later led efforts to restore and rebuild the church.
