SAN JOSE PLACER CHURCH
- Built in 1607 as La Punta by the Jesuits, the church was renamed San José Church when the Augustinians took over in 1617. Renovated in 1873, it retained its original Jesuit structure and was spared from World War II bombings. Further renovations took place from 1980 to 1982, and it remains one of the few parishes in the Philippines still under Augustinian administration.
